Process and Pricing
My process begins with you! Simply tell me what what you're looking for and special requests. I will get back to you promptly.
For animal illustration, pen and ink cartoons and character and mascot illustration, I start with a proposal for your review and approval. Once approved, I'll craft a creative brief, for brainstorming, thumbnails, and mock-ups. I'll keep you apprised as we hit project milestones.
I usually hand draw things first, then color digitally and work to perfection based on your needs. I will include two rounds of revisions as standard practice. The process of coloring can take a bit to get it just right.
I ask for a 50% upfront payment and the remaining 50% upon final delivery of the files.
Work usually takes 1-3 weeks depending on my availability.
All work is printed on premium paper and a bonus 300 DPI digital file for personal use is supplied. I maintain ownership of digital digital source files.

Mascots, Editorial, Kid's Books and Commercial Items
For character and mascot illustration, I create unique and memorable characters for a variety of applications. Whether it's for a video game, animation, school use, or branding, my characters are designed to capture the essence of the organization or story they represent. I can work in both Photoshop (raster) and Illustrator (vector) depending on the project. All of my files will be neatly labeled.
I price mascots, animal illustration, kids books, infographics, animations, pen and ink cartoons, product and promotional work separately according to the job, research and consulting required and commercial usage according to the Graphic Arts Guild pricing guidelines.
After meeting with you for review and approval, I will provide a more formal proposal.
